For your convenience, the rubber mulch is shipped in either 1,950 pound super sacks or on a pallet of 50 1.5 cu ft bags. Unless you have a forklift to lift the super sacks, we suggest ordering by the bag.

This rubber mulch meets or exceeds the guidelines from the United States CPS guidelines for playground surfacing. In terms of ADA standards and wheelchair accessibility, GroundSmart rubber mulch meets ASTM F1951-99 standards. A 6-inch compacted layer provides 14' of critical fall protection per ASTM F1292-04 -- one of the best values for your money in playground surfacing.

Each 1,950 pound super sack or pallet of 50 1.5 cu ft bags fills:

• 240 square feet at 4 inch depth
• 160 square feet at 6 inch depth
• 120 square feet at 8 inch depth

Non-staining: the color will not rub off on children's clothes or pets. Requires a compacted 4" for fall heights 6' and under and a compacted 6" for fall heights 14' and under.
