French Quarter is a smartly designed commercial-grade playground structure that gathers a substantial amount of delightful features all together into a compact package. Evocative of New Orleans architecture, the French Quarter is an elevated octagonal walkway that looks down onto a central open-air courtyard accessible from the upstairs via the natural-seeming rocks of a Boulder Climber or the funky steps of a Pebble Climber with Rail. Kids can also dash to and from the courtyard by going under the platform itself. Youth wanting to explore the exterior base’s perimeter can take a simple walk upstairs to the octagonal ring via the Transfer Station or pick from an assortment of metal climbing ladders or plastic steps.
